Question: I have a 12" thick bond beam pool wall and I want to use 1.25" thick Travertine Pavers (a 4 piece versailles pattern) to deck the yard with but I do not like the way a coping "border" looks. Is there any reason why I can't have the pavers go all the way to the waters edge, leaving a borderless/ seamless deck throughout - so long as the elevations, grading, pitch and compaction prep is done properly?
Answer: There is no reason why you should not be able to use pavers for
that purpose. In fact, we suggest this to our clients. Here is some
