Question: Do you have a tile that is cooler in the hot sunshine? Thought I saw an HGTV show & they put in a travertine tile (in Las Vegas) that reflected a large percentage of the sun.

Answer: Solar Reflective Index (SRI) is usually higher for lighter color travertine. The lighter colors such as Ivory, Walnut, Ivory Swirl among others stay cool to the touch throughout and reflect back most of the rays from the sun.

Even though not excessive, it is also true that darker color travertine can attract and retain some heat.
